Windows 95 and 98:

• Close all applications
• Left click on the “Start” button, go to “Settings”, then click on “Control Panel”
• Left double click on the “Network” icon
• Under the “Configuration” tab left double click on “TCP/IP” for your Network card
• Under the “IP Address” tab select “Obtain an IP address automatically”




• Under the “Gateway” tab make sure there is nothing entered in “Installed Gateway”
• Under the “DNS Configuration” tab select “Disable DNS”, hit OK
• Restart your computer
• Left double click on the “Internet Explorer” icon…you’re now online

Windows 2000:

• Close all applications
• Left click on the “Start” button, go to “Settings”, then click on “Control Panel”




• Left double click on the “Network and Dial-up” icon




• Left double click on the “Local Area Connection” icon and select “Properties”




• Left double click on “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”




• Select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”




• Edit: Left click on “Ok”
• Restart your computer
• Left double click on the “Internet Explorer” icon…you’re now online

Microsoft Windows XP:

• Close all applications
• Left click on the “Start” button and click on “Control Panel”




• Left double click on the “Network Connections” icon




• Left double click on “Local Area Connection”
• Select “Properties”




• Left click on “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and left click on “Properties”




• Select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”
• Left click on “Ok”




• Restart your computer
• Left double click on the “Internet Explorer” icon…you’re now online

Microsoft Windows Vista:

• Close all applications
• Left click on the “Start” button and click on “Control Panel”




• Left click on “View network status and tasks”




• Left click on “Manage network connections” in the left column




• Now double click on “Local Area Connection”




• Left click on the “Properties” button




• A User access control panel may come up, please click “Continue”




• In the middle text field you will see a list, left click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” to select it




• Left click on “Properties”




• Select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”
• Click “Ok”
• Restart your computer and load internet explorer; your internet should work now

Microsoft Win7:

• Left click on the “Start” button and click on “Control Panel”



• Left click on “View network status and tasks”



• Left click on “Change adapter settings” in the left column



• Now double click on “Local Area Connection”



• Left click on the “Properties” button



• A User access control panel may come up, please click “Continue”
• In the middle text field you will see a list, left click on “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4)” to select it.
• Left click on “Properties”



• Select “Obtain an IP address automatically” and “Obtain DNS server address automatically”
• Click “Ok”



• Restart your computer and load internet explorer; your internet should work now

Mac:

• Click on Apple Menu then select “System Preferences”
• Under Internet & Network click on “Network”



• In the “System Preferences” windows click on “Network”



• In the left column of the “Network” window, select either “Airport” if you are using wireless connection or select “Ethernet”. In this example I will select “Ethernet”



• Make sure that the option “Configure IPv4” is set to “Using DHCP”
• Click “Advanced”
• After clicking “Advanced” you will be taken to a configuration screen for TCP/IP. Please make sure that “Configure IPv4” is set to “Using DHCP”
• Next click on the “DNS” tab



• Once in the “DNS” screen, verify that there are no entries made into the “DNS Server” field



• Click OK.
• Restart your computer and open
